I joined the school in 2018 as a teacher. After that I participated in the CSpathshala training programme. I learnt to solve the Sudoku using systematic techniques there and I almost fell in love with the Sudoku. Mathematics is my favourite subject, so upon completing the training from the very next day I immediately started with 4X4 , 6X6 Sudoku for my 6th standard students who progressed from simpler ones to more complex Sudoku. The students were excited to solve Sudoku. I was very happy to see how their faces break into grins when they cracked the Sudoku.
Initially out of 27, only 7 or 8 would attempt to solve Sudoku. But as they became acquainted with the technique 24 out of 27 started to solve the Sudoku accurately. There was a competition amongst them, who would crack it first and without mistakes. So as soon as our class began, I would give a Sudoku on the board and check it in the afternoon recess. This became our daily routine. I downloaded the Sudoku app and used Sudoku from the app, I used some Sudoku from the newspapers and gave them nearly a 100 or 150 Sudoku to solve. They were very happy solving the Sudoku, their excitement immense when they could solve it correctly and even I was happy to see the improvement in their ability to solve the Sudoku.
After March 2020 lockdown, I could send them the Sudoku only on line. At that time only 3-4 students had access to Android mobiles and WhatsApp, which has now increased to more than 20 students. There is a definite improvement in their mathematical ability to solve the Sudoku accurately. If I am unable to send a Sudoku on some day, the students miss it. One of my students Rohan Salunkhe has downloaded the Sudoku app and he shares them on the WhatsApp group. The students are able to solve them quickly too.

जिल्हा परिषद प्राथमिक शाळा शिवे,तालुका खेड ;जिल्हा पुणे. 2018 मध्ये शाळा शिवे येथे हजर झाले. त्यानंतर मी CS पाठशाला चे ट्रेनिंग मध्ये सहभागी झाले होते. त्यावेळी मला सुडोकू
सोडवण्याच्या टेक्निक समजल्या. सुडोकू पैटर्न मला फार आवडला. गणित विषय माझा आवडीचा असल्यामुळे मी ट्रेनिंग झाल्याबरोबर दुसऱ्या दिवशी शाळेत माझ्या इयत्ता सहावीच्या
विद्यार्थ्यांना वर्गात प्रथम 4×4 त्यानंतर 6×6 सोप्याकडून कठीण चौकोन देऊन सुडोकू सोडवण्याची संधी विद्यार्थ्यांना देऊ लागले.
ते सुडोकू सोडवताना खूप उत्सुक असलेले दिसले ,त्याच बरोबर त्यांना सुटता क्षणीच त्यांच्या चेहर्‍यावरील आनंद पाहून मला फार आनंद होत असे.
प्रथम 27 पटा पैकी आठ ,नऊ विद्यार्थीच सोडवत असत, परंतु नंतर जसे जसे त्यांना टेक्निक सोप्या पद्धतीने समजू लागले तसे 27 पैकी 24 विद्यार्थी बिनचूक सोडवण्याचा प्रयत्न करू लागले.ते सोडवताना त्यांच्यामध्ये स्पर्धा निर्माण झाली .सर्वात आगोदर कोणाचा होईल व ते बिनचूक येईल यासाठी त्यांच्यामध्ये स्पर्धा सुरू झाली आणि पाहता पाहता आमचा वर्ग सुरू झाला की प्रथम फळ्यावर मी सुडोकू द्यायचे आणि त्यांचे सुडोकु बाराच्या सुट्टीत तपासायचे.
असा आमचा रोजचा नित्यक्रम चालू झाला. जवळजवळ शंभर ते दीडशे सुडोकू मी सुडोकू ॲप डाऊनलोड करून ,काही पेपर मधील सुडोकू देऊन त्यांना रोज सुडोकू सोडवायला देत असे.
मुले ुडोकू सोडवताना त्यांच्या चेहऱ्यावर एक वेगळाच आनंद त्यांना उत्तर आल्यानंतर त्यांच्या चेहर्‍यावरचा आनंद पाहून आणि त्यांच्याकडे पटकन सोडवण्याची क्षमता आली ते पाहून मलाही खूप आनंद झाला.
मार्च 2020 नंतर मात्र लोक डाऊन नंतर मी त्यांना ऑनलाइन पाठवत होते त्यावेळी फक्त तीन ते चार विद्यार्थ्यांकडे अँड्रॉइड मोबाईल असल्यामुळे किंवा व्हाट्सअप चालू असल्यामुळे जास्त विद्यार्थ्यांना लाभ देता येत नव्हता, परंतु आता जवळ जवळ वीस विद्यार्थ्यांकडे व्हाट्सअप आहे त्यामुळे सर्व विद्यार्थी सुडोकू पटकन
सोडवतात आणि त्यामुळे त्यांच्याकडे गणितातील अचूकता ,कमी वेळेत अचूक शोध ही क्षमता निश्चित प्राप्त झाली आहे.
एखाद्या दिवशी जर मी सुडोकू पाठवले नाही तर मुले सुडोकू पाठवण्याची चातकासारखी वाट पाहतात.
आत्ता तर माझा विद्यार्थी रोहन साळुंके यांनी स्वतः सुडोकू ॲप डाऊनलोड केलेला आहे आणि त्यातील तो पॅटर्न व्हाट्सअप ग्रुप वर पाठवतो आणि मुलं ते सोडवत आहेत त्यामध्ये ते अतिशय
कमी कमी वेळात सुडोकू सोडवत आहेत त्यांची प्रगती पाहून मला खऱ्या अर्थाने CSpathshala खूप खूप धन्यवाद द्यावेसे वाटतात.
